Energy Australia Substation, Sydney NSW

This project involves upgrading the structural elements of a substation located in Sydney CBD. The scope of works included installation of new footings, columns, structural steel and a new reinforced concrete slab to support much heavier transformers. Some of the unique challenges included:

• Working close vicinity to electrical infrastructure including high voltage cables
• Field engineering of structural elements with client’s structural engineers
• Management of construction activities within the Sydney Central Business District
